"By combining Latin and R&B styles, Isa Marina has created an ideally unique sound to accompany her delicate, yet powerful, vocals.”

Heal. Inspire. Empower.

Isa Marina defines talent, passion and creativity. NYC-born and Bronx raised, surrounded and infused with the rich cultural heritage of her Dominican and Afro-Cuban roots, as well as her native New York, she has steadily become a celebrated singer-songwriter, actress, and model. Isa’s music is reflective of her multi-faceted personality, soulful roots, edgy exterior, and overpowering vocal ability.

Isa Marina’s musical journey began at age nine with a few self-taught chords to No Doubt’s Tragic Kingdom, multiple local talent shows, and an active presence in musical theater and choral groups. Inspired by the legendary Maria Callas performance in Puccini’s Tosca, Isa Marina, at the age of 14, took the less traveled road and enrolled at The Marianela Sanchez School of Music in the Dominican Republic, where she was classically trained as a Dramatic Soprano (with a range of 3 1⁄2 octaves spanning from F6 to C3, and a distinguishable whistle register) - under the wing of renowned opera singer, Marianela Sanchez.

Armed with a solid musical foundation, unrivaled vocal abilities, and robust techniques derived from years of training and dedication, the gifted songstress made a comeback to the concrete jungle after graduation. With her sharp intuition and deep knowledge of the industry, she quickly recognized the powerful influence of mainstream sound and identified it as a unique opportunity during a coveted internship with Capitol Records. Shortly thereafter, a bold decision was made: Isa Marina would make her mark on contemporary Pop music, all the while staying true to her classical roots.

While still attending Pace University in April 2013, Isa Marina released her debut EP, "Montage" , which generated industry buzz by way of EDM influenced single, “Safehouse”, and the hauntingly beautiful ballad, “You & I”. In March 2016, Isa Marina released the anticipated 1st single, "Take it Slow", from her sophomore EP, “Mirrors Volume I” (lovingly known as MVI), receiving positive acclaim from some of music’s most esteemed publications: The Source, Rolling Out, and Global Grind even stated that - ‘the track proves the Bronx native is here to stay.’ A 2nd stand-out single from MVI, “Good for Me”, captivated listeners and music lovers alike: “Isa’s voice instantly entrances you and seduces you into submission.” – Impose Magazine.

Promising reviews of Isa Marina’s performances and singles granted her the stellar opportunity to perform on WNYC’s Soundcheck Live. All the while also having performed on many revered NYC stages, such as: The Theater at Madison Square Garden, SOB’s [Sounds of Brazil], The Bitter End, Rockwood Music Hall, The Bowery Electric, The Delancey, Piano’s, Drom, Tammany Hall, The Shrine, Harlem Nights, among many other staple NYC performance venues. Her exclusive acoustic presentations with Sofar Sounds have also further solidified the organic impact of her live offerings (she is now an alumni artist of Sofar Sounds).

Isa Marina was invited to compete on MTV’s TRL for the show’s ‘Rock the Mic’ competition hosted by Keyshia Cole and won. She also collaborated with Tidal when she was invited as a guest on popular Latin online personality La Bella Chanel’s show: ‘Ayudame Chanel’.

Following in the footsteps of the moguls and artists she admires, who’ve forged a path of independence (Nipsey Hussle, Rihanna), Isa built a creative and administrative hub for the formation and release of her musical projects. In 2018 Isa Marina officially created and founded her record label, Norwood Entertainment, LLC. Thereafter, Isa Marina successfully managed and embarked on two tours: the Live in NYC Tour (2018) and the True Colors Tour (2019). The tours spanned multiple venues in NYC, Washington D.C., and Boston, Massachusetts. In 2019, she released her third EP, "True Colors" (of which she also executively produced) to stellar reviews. Quickly adapting to our new normal, in June of 2020, Isa Marina effortlessly performed on the virtual mainstage of the Bronx Pride Parade for Pride NYC 2020. In August of that same year, she released her beloved summer hit-single, "Tidalwave".

Since then, Isa Marina has continued to perform at countless virtual concerts, as well as in-person shows, with her live band. She’s most recently been featured on major news and tastemaking platforms: CNN en Español, Ruidosa Fest, MusicBreakr, Remezcla, BeLatina, and Singersroom. In 2021, Isa released two of her most celebrated singles, "Down" and "Paid Up" - that fiercely and joyfully celebrate confidence and women's empowerment. In Spring of 2022, she also released a tringle set of tracks: “Dangerous”, "Without You", and "Guaya" (her 1st ever Spanish-language track), which are quickly picking up steam. With more music and content to come – Isa Marina has uniquely crafted a lane of her own within the music industry, solidifying herself as an international talent.
